This auction is for a custom aluminum barge designed for research work. Barge features a moon-hole for sampling in (3X3') , A-frame with Hydraulic Winch (2000 lbs capacity), and 3 Spuds for anchoring. The Earthprobe by Simco geoprobe unit is for sale in another auction. Barge can take either direct push or auger core samplers from the sediment. We have used this to collect cores over 60 feet in length. Barge was built by Bean Custom Fabrication in Lewiston, Idaho.
